Risa Yamanaka is an aspiring interior designer and scene creator based in San Francisco, CA. She has earned a diploma from The Interior Design Institute, certificate in Advanced Sketch Up, as well as a certificate in Commercial Design.

Risa was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan until she was 9 years old, before her and her family moved to Los Angeles, CA. She switched her career in Psychology to pursuing her love for Interior Design. The journey has lead her to being able to experience working as an interior design assistant and an independent contractor for established local designers.

Now, she has been honing her skills, gaining knowledge, and continuing to pursue her true passion in creating beautiful rooms for all functions through different projects.

She also has tremendous love for cinema and hope to integrate her love for home decorating and interior design in the story telling space on the screen. Most recently, she has earned a certificate in Theatre and Set Design from Edx through the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II.
